Know Before You Go
We encourage visitors to photograph our farm and kindly ask that you tag us in any photos on social media AND use our hashtags #jandclocalfarms #jclocalfarmsphotos

- Be kind to others and respect our farm. You are visiting a working farm and a business. You are a guest on the farm. Please respect any rules and signs displayed at the farm.
- Driving: Drive carefully, yield to moving equipment, and be aware of livestock or animals. We live on a dirt road, so please plan to go slowly around corners or when traveling out. So take your time.
- Parking: An area is designated for parking. Please ensure your vehicle does not block farm lanes, driveways, or storage sheds. Additionally, refrain from driving across any fields. Respect the farm's rules and signage, and only visit designated areas.
- Smoking, vaping, and E-cigarettes are prohibited anywhere on the property.
- Try not to touch plants or flowers since this is a culinary lavender farm. We have bees, insects, ants, and other jumping bugs. Bees love lavender, so please do not grab any lavender; they like to hide within. Ants love to make beds within our lavender, so be cautious.
- Only walk within the paths between the lavender, and please stay off the plastic areas with any shoes.
- Gates: The gates will be open for this scheduled event, so please do not touch them during or after arriving.
- Garbage: Dispose of waste in receptacles. Our fields are garbage-free since we don't want to attract any outside animals to the farm. Please do not bring food from home.
- Footwear: Wear close-toed shoes or boots. The ground can be uneven and slippery. Please be careful when walking around our fields. The ground can be uneven, and fire ant mounds can appear overnight. If you decide to wear high heels, you will be responsible for any injuries.
- Trespassing is unlawful and not permitted. Our farm is not open to the public. Please be considerate and kind to others enjoying our farm.
- Respect the farm's rules and signs, and only visit designated areas. You are visiting a working farm and a business. You are a guest on the farm. Please respect any rules and signs displayed at the farm.
- NO PETS
- NO DRONES
- Children: Keep an eye on your kids to ensure a fun and educational experience. No running please - don't want anyone to trip or fall.
- We do have bee hives on the farm. For your safety, visit only identified areas. Reminder: This farm has wildlife, including snakes, insects, bugs, birds, and animals.
- On-site Emergencies: Joe Stiles volunteers with the local fire department and is EMT certified. We are prepared to handle simple injuries, stings, and bites on the farm.
